The Spartans are off to a 2-0 start on their home court, and own a big win over UC-Irvine here. They finished 4-1 here at the end of last year where this team is difficult to play. Montana State’s Brad Huse has enjoyed just a single winning season in his last five at Montana St. They are picked in the bottom tier of the Big Sky Conference, having lost more scoring and rebounding from a year ago than any other team. The Bobcats haven't helped their cause, shooting just 63.6% from the charity stripe, and in what could be a close game, those lost points will come back to haunt them. This is also a team has covered just three of their last 12 on the road. The Spartans are 6-1 off a win in their last seven and have a foundation to build on at home where they have been winning frequently. I'll go with San Jose State on the moneyline.
