Montana vs. Wisconsin

The Montana Grizzlies come into tournament play as one of the hottest teams in the country, winners of 14 straight to finish 25-6. The problem is that this team is completely untested, and will have their hands full solving the intense defense of the Badgers who rank No. 8 in the country at 38.3% allowed by their opponents, and No. 5 in the country at defending the arc at 28.9%. Montana has faced just one power-conference team all season, not even a good one, and managed just 46 points vs. Oregon State, and could be in for similar numbers here. The Badgers’ defense may be great, but the offense is horrible as they scored in the 50s or less in 12 of their last 27 games, and are now 14-6-1 to the UNDER in their last 21 at a neutral site.
