Monmouth at Memphis

The Memphis Tigers program, while still good, is nothing like it was under Coach Calipari who won over 30 games on many occasions. The Tigers enter their game vs. Monmouth at 7-2, but outside a nice win vs. Iowa, the quality wins have truly been lacking. Their last two games saw them shoot their worst percentages back-to-back of the season. Monmouth may sound like a nobody here, but this is a team that won 28 games last season, and among the wins were UCLA,USC, Notre Dame, and Georgetown. The Hawks have become a giant killer. They are an equally good team this season, and they lost at South Carolina by a single point, and the Gamecocks are ranked and just lost for the first time. This is a tricky game between a known commodity in Memphis against a sleeper that can play. Take Monmouth on the moneyline for the upset.
