Mississippi State at UCLA

The rise and fall of the Bruins’ Empire dominated for an extended era was falling fast, rose once again only to fall back. That is the state here and the drop off is extensive. Losing at Pauley to Cal State Fullerton? Then getting blown out by 27 to Portland, ouch! The Bruins have lost four straight and are not close to being good. And the Bulldogs are very good and their last three games vs. some good conference opponents show that they can destroy teams. The problem UCLA faces here is that they have a name that will bring out the best in a good team, but have the talent level of a bad team. The one thing that the Bruins do is play good defense, but they can't score. The Bulldogs are an impressive 7-1 ATS off an ATS win, while the Bruins are now 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. .600 or better teams. The Bruins can't score and Bulldogs are now 6-0-1 to the UNDER in their last seven at a neutral site. I'll go with Mississippi State and the UNDER here.
