Mississippi State at Auburn

Mississippi St. will have a great opportunity to build their resume late this afternoon as they take on a 21-7 AUburn team. Auburn is ranked 6th in the latest RPI, but one thing always said about teams is defense travels, Miss St. ranks No. 17 in adjusted offense, so they clearly can hang in this game. The Tigers have not played like they dd early in the season, and over their last 10 games the Tigers are a very pedestrian 5-5. The Billdogs are a scrappy defensive oriented team, and are difficult to get margin on, as they have not lost a game by more than 13 points all season, and that was the only loss on the season by more than nine, so taking 9.5 here vs. an Auburn team that hasn't played particularly well of late looks strong.
