Miss Valley State vs. Western Kentucky

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have caught lightning in a bottle, and a little luck, to get to the play-in game here vs. Mississippi Valley State. The Hilltoppers were sitting at 9-18 not long ago, so to even get here is a miracle. This is not a team with a high ceiling as they won 15 of their 18 games by 7 points or less. The Delta Devils were one overtime point away from starting their season at 0-11, so to amass over 20 wins says a lot about this team. The first 10 losses were all to power-conference teams, and they have been 20-1 in their last 21 games. Their overall scoring numbers are not as impressive as they have been of late, due to 10 games vs. power-conference teams. They have struck for 70+ in 13 of their last 19 games, and while they don't get lined games frequently they are 30-1 as a neutral-site dog to the OVER. Western Kentucky has played five straight to the OVER vs. a winning team. The Hilltoppers made a nice conference run to get here, but are 6-16 ATS in their last 22 outside the conference.
