This is a big matchup between in-state rivals regardless of the records. Michigan is having a down year and comes into the game at just 7-13, while Michigan St. has been disappointing as they enter at 12-8. Michigan should be hungry after getting blown out by Purdue in their last game, and they do own an upset win at Iowa, and lost at Oregon by just three, so they are capable of hanging around here, especially in a heated rivalry game. Michigan has lost and failed to cover the last five here, but this line is too big for this type of game. Michigan has only been a double-digit dog here once in the last 10 meetings and came away with the money. I expect they will keep this one inside the number, and I will make the play on Michigan.
