The Spartans return their guards, including Denzel Valentine and adds transfer Eron Harris. MSU also returns Matt Costello and Gavin Schilling in the frontcourt. Kansas is a national championship contender and coming off a 109-72 win over Northern Colorado. Brannen Greene led with 18 points as the Jayhawks shot 55.7 percent from the field, while Northern Colorado was held to 39.3 percent. The Jayhawks have a frontline Jamari Traylor, Landen Lucas and Hunter Mickelson while Cheick Diallo is out indefinitely due to eligibility issues.
