Michigan State at Texas

Texas got into a shootout with a willing North Carolina, but that isn't how the Spartans play. They are physical and defensive first and foremost, yet this one is carrying a similar total, but will be played out much differently. The Spartans have held seven of their first 11 opponents to 62 points or less. Texas can score, but they can really bring it on the defensive end as well. The Horns are allowing just 33.5% shooting against them, No. 2 in NCAAB as well as their 2nd ranked work on the boards, so I don’t see a lot of put-backs here for the Spartans. The Spartans carry defense against teams that are better than them, leading to a 26-10-1 mark to the UNDER when posted as a dog. The Horns "D" it up with the best of them and I look for this one to fall short of a lofty total.
