Michigan State at Syracuse

Coach Izzo is all about defense, and he certainly has the talent to matchup well with Syracuse here. The Cuse employs the zone which the Spartans don't get much of a look at. That means they will likely be going deeper into the shot clock than they are used to. Cuse has been tough on defense with five of their first seven going UNDER the total. They have held five of their opponents to 60 or less. Syracuse is holding teams to just 37.4% in the early going, and Izzo's boys are right behind them at 37.7% allowed. Michigan State is 13-4 UNDER the past three seasons vs. teams that allow under 40% from the field. Under Jim Boeheim, the Cuse is 54-38 UNDER as an undderdog. The Spartans are also 4-1 UNDER in their last five and Syracuse has gone OVER just once in their last six games overall. I like this game to go UNDER this total.
