Michigan State at Northwestern

One thing for certain is that when you play a Tom Izzo coached team, you better be ready for 40 minutes of stellar, in-your-face defense. It is always the calling card of his team. Northwestern is severely out-manned for this game. They are going to have to run the shot clock and slow the game down at least in the first half. If they get too far behind, they will have no choice but to try turn things up. The Wildcats aren't in a hurry anyway, as their limited offense has produced just 55 points per game in their last six as the games begin to get more challenging. I don't expect a lot of possessions in the first half, and the Spartans defense will make life even more difficult for the Wildcats. Play the first half UNDER in this one.
