Miami Ohio has been a team on the verge of 20+ seasons for a couple years now, but they can't seem to get there. Last year injuries to St. Clair, and Tim Pollitz sickness were the blame, and now this group is all healthy yet they still come out of the gate 4-6. Monty St. Clair was labeled as a post player with vast potential, the problem is he is still averaging only 4.4ppg and 3.9rpg which is just not getting it done. Tim Pollitz's numbers expected to climb this year, are actually down, and maybe this group just isn't as talented as it looks. Dayton has surprised everyone including Louisville, and Creighton, and are off to an unexpected 9-1 start. They are doing it with experience, that seems to be coming together with 4 returning starters, and a stiffling defense keeping opponents FG shooting at an ice cold 36.5%. we will lay the points with an experienced talented group coming together, vs an experienced talented group falling apart.
