Mercer at Georgia State

Georgia St. will host Mercer tonight with both teams coming into the contest at 1-1 Both teams took tough 2-point losses as Mercer fell to East Carolina by just two points and Georgia St, just missed vs Georgia Tech losing by two. The Mercer program has slipped some since they had a 7-year period with a winning record they are under .500 in their last 127 games. I think Georgia St. has some early season upside. They have shot the ball poorly in their first two games as they connected on less than 38%, but won big and lost to a better team by just two points while otherwise being the statistically stronger squad. I like Georgia St. on the moneyline.
