Mercer at BYU

It helps to have experience this time of the season and Mercer has it, led by senior guard Travis Smith and juniors Langston Hall, Daniel Coursey and Jakob Gollon. They won 12 road games last season and nine this year after the last game, a 75-67 upset at Tennessee as a +8.5 dog. They had balanced scoring, as usual, with Smith pouring in 25 points to lead a quartet of Mercer starters in double-figure scoring, including Coursey's seven of seven shooting! Mercer is on a 3-1 ATS run and has more wins than the home team here, BYU. BYU has been an overvalued money-burner all season and is currently on a 3-6 ATS run. BYU is no defensive dynamo, last in the WCC in points allowed at 69.2 ppg.
