Memphis at Boise State

Boise State has won seven of its last eight games and won the Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament titles after defeating San Diego State, 53-52, on Saturday in the championship game while shooting only 38.3%. The Broncos obviously are a good defensive team as they allow just a .426 field goal percentage and 60.8 points per game. They are led by Abu Kigab and Marcus Shaver, Jr., who average 14.7 and 13.9 points, respectively. Memphis was crushed by Houston, 71-53, in the American Athletic Conference championship game, and it snapped a six-game winning streak. This could actually be called a revenge game for the Broncos, who lost to Memphis, 59-56, in the quarterfinals of the 2021 NIT. The Broncos have four starters 6'7" or taller, and the Tigers struggle with rebounding on the defensive end. Boise State will have the crowd advantage with the game being played in Portland.
