McNeese State vs. Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts has made some NCAA tournament splashes, and are certainly the known quantity here. The Golden Eagles managed to stay above .500 for the regular season, but they certainly were not playing well down the stretch, closing the regular season at 6-7 with two straight losses. McNeese State beat Oral Roberts convincingly in their only matchup this season in a comfortable 11-point win. They won the game despite shooting just 3-13 from deep, but the biggest reason was their ability to dominate the glass which they won 45-21, and had 15 offensive rebounds. The domination led to a great disparity from the free throw line as McNeese went to the stripe 40 times, converting 75%.
