Massachusetts at Mississippi

Massachusetts is coming off a 14-18 season and has six freshmen on the roster as the Minutemen try to rebuild again. Rashaan Holloway led UMass with 21 points as it won the season opener 76-60 over UMass Lowell. Holloway is the major returning player, even though he averaged only 5.2 points per game last season. Donte Clark and Luwane Pipkins added 14 each on Friday, but the Minutemen shot only 42% and held the River Hawks to 37.3%.  Mississippi beat UT Martin 86-83 as a 17.5-point favorite while holding the Skyhawks to 37.0 percent from the field. Deandre Burnett led the Rebels with 23 points, but their top frontline threat, Sebastian Saiz, had an off night scoring just five points with three boards. Ole Miss won last year's meeting 74-64 in a game that went UNDER by 13.5 points. UMass has gone UNDER nine of its last 12 games. Play this one to the UNDER.
