Maryland at Michigan State

Coach Tom Izzo has a lot of talent (as usual) and this team will continue to improve. They took a really bad loss at home to Texas Southern for their first home defeat of the season. This is a team that seldom loses at home as they are 134-22 straight-up here in their last 156, and over that period they are 39-25-2 ATS as a home favorite of less than 10 points. Maryland is off to a great start at 12-1 on the season, but lost by 11 vs. Virginia - a tough defensive team, and that is what coach Izzo's teams generally bring, so this is a tough spot for the Terrapins. The Spartans are 5-0 ATS in their last five in conference play and are a momentum team which is 9-2-1 ATS following a spread win in their last 12. Maryland will find out that the Big-10 isn't friendly on the road, so make the play on Michigan State.
