After a cupcake win at home, Marshall heads out to the Big East for its first road game. The game is the Herd’s first of four consecutive games away from home and that's a concern for a Marshall team that is relatively young. The Thundering Herd is 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a win and 3-7 ATS in their last ten non-conference games. The inexperience is most prevalent in the frontcourt due to the departure of Tirrell Baines and Johnny Thomas. And that will be a problem here as Villanova has a pair of wide bodies in 6-7 JayVaughn Pinkston and 6-10 Mouphtaou Yarou in the frontcourt. Villanova returns eight players from last year’s squad and the Wildcats are coming off a 78-58 win over District of Columbia in their season opener on Friday. Villanova has no problem rolling over smaller conferences early as last year they whipped Monmouth, LaSalle, Delaware and Riverside, three of which were by double digits. Play Villanova.
