Marshall at Arkansas State

Marshall just finished a brutal schedule stretch, playing several hard-fought games against power five opponents including Penn State, South Carolina and #22 West Virginia. The Herd defeated King University 90-76 their last game. Four players finished the game in double figures for the Herd, including redshirt sophomore forward Ryan Taylor who finished with 15 points and 17 rebounds. Taylor has been terrific all year with 14.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, teaming with 6-9 senior Cheikh Sane (7.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg) to give Marshall a fine frontcourt. They face an Arkansas State team on a 2-9 ATS run and 0-6 ATS at home. Arkansas State has a losing record overall, but is coming off a 14-point win at SEC opponent Mississippi State, so this is an emotional let-down spot.
