Marshall at Akron

The Akron Zips have put out some good teams over the last couple of seasons, but they lost two of their top three scorers from last season, and they have not gotten a lot of help offensively, and don't have that same ability to put teams away as they have in the past. They have dropped two of their last three to Middle Tennessee, and North Dakota State, so it will be an up-and-down season for the Zips. At 4-8 on the season, Marshall does not appear to be much of a threat here, but they played Louisville and West Virginia tough, covering both games. The herd has had a sense of showing up for bigger games as they are 6-0 ATS in their last six vs. a team over .600. The Zips tend to go to sleep vs. bad teams, struggling to a 6-13 ATS mark in their last 19 vs. a losing team. Play on Marshall.
