Xavier has started their first season in the Big East with convincing wins over St. John's, and Butler. Now all eyes turn to Marquette. The Musketeers have run the table at home where they are a perfect 11-0. Marquette realized that they needed more scoring and moved Davante Gardner into the starting lineup and it immediately paid dividends, as he dropped in 28 points in his first start. It seemed to spark the offense as Marquette went on to shoot 51.5% for the game. While this is their first game against each other as conference members, the Golden Eagles have had the upper hand in this series at 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. And more from Gardner means a better Marquette team, so take them in this one.
