Marquette is 5-0 and rolling, winning on average by a score of 92 to 68. But, let's not forget that the home team here, Dayton, is also 5-0. Instead of doing it on offense like Marquette, Dayton is doing it on defense as they have held their five opponents to an average of just 48.2 ppg on 32.7% shooting. Wow! The Flyers were a Top 15 at one point last year and they are serving notice that they want to be considered a top team again this year. This is a huge game for them to make a statement. When they achieved their top ranking last season, they were sitting at 14-1 and had beaten Louisville and Pitt. They are not intimidated by big programs. Then, all-rookie team Chris Wright was injured and the wheels fell off. This season, Wright is back and so, obviously, is Dayton. I think they get pumped for this opportunity and make the most of it. I'll take the home dog with near double-digit points.
