Marquette at Butler

Creighton's win last night moved Marquette to sole ownership of the Big East basement, and a win is badly needed. The Golden Eagles are just 1-9 in their last 10 games, but the picture is better than it looks. They lost twice in overtime, one of which was against this same Butler team, and lost to good teams in St. John's by just three and Xavier by just four, so they have been right there in a good amount of games, and keep fighting. Butler has come out on the winning side in two recent overtime games, but is 0-4 ATS in their last four, and are playing below the line. I think that Marquette is equipped to hang around here vs. a Butler team that is not deep, and seems to be tiring down the stretch. Play on Marquette.
