Maryland Baltimore County has a better than average basketball program for a mid to low level major. They have had a winning record in seven of their last eight seasons, which includes three seasons with 20+ wins. They opened some eyes with their huge upset of Virginia as a 16 seed in the NCAA Tornament, and while they opened the season 0-1 so far, that loss was by a single point to Louisville on the road. They shot 50.7% in that game, and had just 11 turnovers. Marist beat Army in their opener despite being out-rebounded as Army commited 19 turnovers which led to their demise. UMBC has a good chance to open 4-1 before playing in Maryland, and I like them here. Make the play on Maryland Baltimore County.
