Maine got destroyed 96-62 by Duke in their season openers on Monday and it went OVER by 19 points even though the Black Bears made only three 3-point shots in 14 attempts. The Blue Devils shot 56 percent and made 11 3s with six scorers in double figures. Maine has some returning starters that are good shooters, including A.J. Lopez, who shot 42.6 percent from 3-point range in conference play last season, but he took only four shots against Duke. Brown also went OVER in a 72-71 loss to Siena and the Bears were led by Kino Lilly, who scored 18 points. Brown has gone OVER four of its past five games dating to last season and this is a low total considering Maine's lack of defense in its first game of the season. Also, look for Maine's shooters to have a better showing with a game under their belts. Take the OVER.
