It always helps to have monster rebounders this time of the college basketball season, and LSU is one of the best with 6-9 junior Johnny O'Bryant III (15.4 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game) and 6-8 freshman Jordan Mickey (12.7 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game). The Tigers are 10th in the nation in rebounding. LSU has plenty of offensive punch (75 points per game) with good backcourt scoring, too. O'Bryant scored 13 points, Jarell Martin scored 14 of his 16 in the first half, and LSU beat San Francisco 71-63 in the first round of the NIT on Wednesday. One player remarked, "This was all business for us," so this is a team that wants to be in the NIT tournament. They face an SMU team that has lost three of the last four games. SMU is 98th in the nation in rebounding with skinny, 6-8 freshman Ben Moore (185 pounds) and 6-6 freshman Sterling Brown (200 pounds) as their top rebounders. The Mustangs are 1-4 ATS in their last five against the the SEC, so grab the talented and big, hungry, live dog. Play LSU!
