LSU at Rutgers

The Big East/SEC Challenge gets into high gear today and LSU takes on Rutgers on the road. The Tigers have played to the level of their competition thus far with wins vs. notable programs such as Western Kentucky, Georgia Tech and Houston, but losses to South Alabama and Coastal Carolina. Based on what we have seen from this team, a focused effort should take place tonight vs. a Big East team. There is a lot of anticipation at Rutgers with a quality seven-player recruiting class, but this team is still too young and inexperienced at this point. They have won against the soft touches, but outclassed by more notable teams, and this will be another notable squad. Rutgers is now 0-8-1 ATS in their last nine tries out of conference, so play on LSU in this one.
