Loyola Marymount vs. Nebraska

The Loyola Marymount Lions have not been a factor in the West Coast Conference for years, maybe since Hank Gathers was making headlines decades ago. The Lions likely won't be again this season as they have dropped five straight games to go to 3-7, but they have made progress, covering two of their last three. Nebraska has not been much of a factor in the Big-12 either for quite some time, and judging early season losses to Incarnate Word, Rhode Island, and Hawaii, they are going to struggle this season. Those are three bad losses by a power conference team, so Nebraska as a mid-size chalk here is tough to trust as they have proven they can lose to any team, and at 6-4 really should be 9-1. The Huskers have been getting beat up outside the conference at just 1-9 ATS in their last 10 outside the conference as the Big-12 member is getting more credit than they deserve.
