Louisville at Dayton

Louisville had great expectations last year, but came up short of an expected NCAA bid. This year they open up at home vs lowly Northwestern St. and find themselves down by 11 at the half, before rallying in the second half. It was a track meet type of game, one in which Louisville thrives. Dayton will employ a much more methodical style, and that is not when Louisville is at its best. This will be a most difficult game for Louisville, as it represents a big-time opponent coming to Dayton, which always has the home team running on extra emotion, and effort. Dayton has ruled on their homecourt over the past several years, compiling a 61-12 record! The problem Louisville had last year, was they simply were a completely different team out of their own building. They dropped their last 7 road games last year, and this will be their first road test this year. We like the Flyers and their tough play at home, versus a Louisville team that has lots to prove outside of their own building.
