Longwood vs. Houston

The Longwood Lancers are from a small Virginia town called Farmville. They faced Alabama early in the season and the Crimson Tide have a high flying frentically paced offense. They held Alabama to 75 points in a game that scored just a total of 129 last season. I think they will use that as a blueprint for this one. Houston is a defensive stallwart and the Cougars allow just 54ppg on the season. Opponents have averaged just 26ppg against them in the first half, and that may shrink with Longwood playing stall ball. The Cougars manage just 34ppg of their own in the first half. Slow pace, foreign shooting backgrounds, and opening night jitters calls for this one to play UNDER the first half total.
