Long Beach State at Syracuse

The Cuse is off to a big start at 8-0, but suffered a severe blow in their last game as Eric Devendorf has been suspended for disiplinary reasons. He will however suit up, and likely play as he is appealing the decision. You have to wonder if it will have an impact on his play and the chemistry to the team in this one. Long Beach St. has done a good job scoring against some inferior opponents, but you have to wonder what they can do against good teams. They were limited to 61 against Wisconsin, and just 65 against BYU. This is a lofty total to reach if just one team is doing the scoring, and the 49ers have shown an inability to do so against top level competition. They have also played six of their last eight vs. teams with a winning percentage of .600 or higher to the UNDER. I like the UNDER in this one.
