Long Beach State at Pepperdine

Long Beach State is off to a poor start with a 4-7 record while shooting 44.3 percent and the 49ers have gone UNDER five of their last eight games.  Pepperdine hasn't been any better with a 3-6 record and .449 field goal percentage and both teams are averaging nearly 73 points per game. The Waves snapped a three-game losing streak with a 70-59 win over UC Riverside on Tuesday and it went UNDER by 17 points. Pepperdine shot just 37.5 percent from the floor with two players scoring in double figures, including Nolan Taylor with 17 points and Colbey Ross adding 16 points and seven assists.   Long Beach State has gone UNDER five of its last six after allowing at least 90 points its previous game and 5-1 UNDER after any loss.  Last year's meeting went UNDER by 10 points with the 49ers winning 75-66.
