La Salle at Temple

This is a Big-5 Rivalry game that involves the schools in the Philadelphia area. LaSalle is coming off a disapointing nine win season. The Owls are off a 21 win campaign, and have usually gotten the better of their inner-city foe, having won 14 of the last 17 contests, including a 62-49 road win last season. While Temple has had the edge, the rivalry nature of this game has seen LaSalle hold its own the last eight years as the teams are 4-4 ATS. The distance bewteen these teams is changed from last season as Fran Dunphy lost three starters, all of which were instrumental in the 21-win season last year. The Owls will struggle to find the right places for newcomers, and will struggle early in the season. LaSalle suffered a lot of growing pains last season, but have all five starters back, and will be vastly improved.
