La Salle at Massachusetts

The UMass Minutemen have had their moments in recent years, but this is not a very polished or experienced team, and they enter this contest at 8-8 on the season. Coach Matt McCall has just two returning starters, and the Minutemen are lacking any quality depth. Losses to Quinnipiac and Georgia State kind of speaks to that. La Salle has all five starters back, but is just 7-9 on the season. The big difference is the strength of schedule, getting to 7-9 which is superior to what UMass has seen. I think the Explorers are in a winnable situation on the road, and have the roster experience to win a close one. Play on La Salle.
