Houston favored over Kentucky? Yes, and for good reason. This is not a vintage Kentucky team. The Wildcats are facing the prospect of their 4th consecutive defeat, which hasn't happened since the '89-90 season. Meanwhile, Houston has run its winning streak to eight straight, and the roles for this one have suddenly reversed. The red flags went up early when Kentucky dropped a 16 point decision at home to Gardner Webb, and eeked past Stony Brook at home by 10. Houston is the much more confident team here, and with a high profile opponent coming into their building (without high profile talent), it is a great opportunity to get some immediate attention. Kentucky may stay close, but we can't see them winning here so we will ride Houston on the moneyline.
