Kentucky at Connecticut

UCONN has now lost their last four games ATS. Six of their twelve season ATS losses have come in the past eight games. Bettors who have this team winning it all in their bracket just can't help themselves. But, they are clearly underperforming. I, too, have them winning it all at this point but that won't stop me from backing Kentucky with 9 points here. If the Huskies get off to as slow a start as they did against Albany, they will find themselves fighting for there lives in this one. Tubby Smith knows how to prepare a team and he and his players won't be intimidated today. UCONN lost in this round last year to a #10 seed. Kentucky is 9-2 ATS this year in the second half vs. winning teams and I think they keep this one closer than most expect. Two stars on the Wildcats plus the points.
