Kent State comes off a home loss to Southeastern Louisiana 70-66, allowing 47.1% shooting while getting beat on the boards. It doesn't get any easier against an unbeaten Valparaiso team that has won five of the last six Horizon League regular season championships. Valpo's depth was on display again on Tuesday as the Crusaders paired two starters with three players off the bench during a big second-half run, pulling away from Samford for an 88-67 victory. The Crusaders also outscored Samford 49-31 in the second half. Valpo went 2-1 SU last year in neutral-site games, downing Alabama and BYU in Las Vegas, and matches up well for this one.
