Kent State at Northern Kentucky

Northern Kentucky will contend for the Horizon League title after finishing 20-12 overall and 14-6 in conference play last season as four starters return, including its top three guards who will give the Norse stability every game and they added four more players, including 6-9 Cesar Tchilombo and 6-8 LJ Wells. The Norse won five of their final six games before losing by a point to Wright State in the conference tournament championship game and they ended the season on a 9-1 ATS run. Kent State returns four starters from a 23-11 squad that lost its last two games to Akron in the MAC tournament and then to Southern Utah in a postseason game.
