Jacksonville State at Belmont

A couple of NCAA appearances by the Belmont Bruins and an upset at North Carolina this year have the Bruins front and center once again. This, however, is not the same quality of team we have seen in the recent past. Belmont has had to replace their top three scorers from a year ago, and while they beat NC, they have lost four straight with three of the losses coming at the hands of South Dakota State, Denver, and Indiana State. All those losses occurred by double-digits, something that would not have happened the last couple of years. Jacksonville State was just a +16 point underdog at Illinois, so the line here is way out of line. The Gamecocks sport a 5-1 ATS record following a spread loss, and all the value on Belmont is gone, who are just 0-5 ATS in their last five at home. Back Jacksonville State in this one.
