Iowa State at West Virginia

Coach Bobby Huggins had a lot less to start with this season, but he is once again working his magic and has gotten his Mountaineers to improve as the season has progressed. They have started to build on their success at home, where they have always been a tough out. West Virginia has won three straight on their home court, and the most recent two were the most impressive taking down Oklahoma and Kansas State. Iowa State was once 14-0 on the season, but having to play in the rigors of the Big-12 night in and night out is beginning to wear on this team as the Cyclones have since gone just 4-4 after the perfect start. They have been 1-3 in their last four on the road, with the only win a narrow overtime escape by a single point. West Virginia is going to have to control the tempo here, run when the situation presents itself, but keep the Cyclones offense behind them and make them earn their points in the half court. West Virginia has done a good job of doing exactly that, and they are now 5-2 to the UNDER in their last seven home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
