Iowa State at Texas

Iowa State is 12-3 but was dealt a setback as the Cyclones showed some defensive liabilities and Baylor came from behind to win 94-89 as a seven-point underdog. The Bears shot 52.3 percent from the field, which was more than enough to keep up with Iowa State , which shoots a .499 field goal percentage on the season. The edge in tonight's game goes to Texas when it comes to defense as the Longhorns allow just 39.6 percent from the floor and only 35.6 percent at home. The Longhorns are coming off a tough 58-57 loss at TCU but the Longhorns are 7-1 at home this season with the only loss coming against Connecticut. Javan Felix scored 16 points against TCU but Isaiah Taylor was the only other in double figures with 13 points. Iowa  State had four players in double digits against Baylor, including Georges Niang with 22, but it wasn't enough to slow down the Bears. Shaka Smart is doing a formidable job in his first season coaching the Longhorns and the outright win is the way to go tonight. Grab Texas on the moneyline.
