Iowa State at BYU

A couple of teams looking for some national attention will square off as 3-0 Iowa State will play at 4-0 BYU. The Cougars have certainly opened some eyes after scoring 100+ vs. Stanford and totaling 108 vs. Mount Saint Mary's. Iowa State played a couple of up tempo games vs. cupcakes but played a more conventional game against Michigan that was in the 70s. Obviously the oddsmakers are playing for a shootout here, with the highest total of the season. However, these anticipated shootouts usually go bust, as each team respects the running game of the other and does their best in preparation to deter them. I also think with both clubs seeking national attention, with the winner remaining unbeaten, the defensive intensity will win out. The Cougars have been slowed down by good teams as they are 12-5 to the UNDER when facing a team over .600. This one doesn't get there, so play on the UNDER.
