These teams have gotten here on the strength of their star players, and for Iowa that means Roy Marble. Marble has averaged 24.3 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 4.8 assists per game, as well as 2.5 steals per contest. Baylor has been led by Pierre Jackson who has averaged 20.3 ppg, and has recorded three straight double-doubles (assists). These players will get theirs, but in the end it is going to be the complementary players that make the difference. Baylor has better options in that regard with Cory Jefferson producing 20.8 ppg in four NIT games, and Isaiah Austin who averaged 13 points per game on the season, and went for a double-double in the semifinal at the Garden. This one goes to the dog, so play on Baylor.
