Indiana State at Northern Illinois

Northern Illinois won last year's meeting 67-57 and held the Sycamores to 35 percent shooting and it went UNDER by 30.5 points. The Huskies had won and covered five in a row before losing to Northwestern on Nov. 27 and they still are 5-1 ATS this season. Northern Illinois has high expectations with three returning starters plus some valuable transfers and it averages 84.6 points while shooting 48.9 percent. The Huskies are 6-0 ATS following an ATS loss and 4-0 ATS against teams with winning road records. Indiana State is off to a good start with a 7-1 record and the only loss was by 22 points to Alabama. This will be the most points the Sycamores have laid on the road. Northern Illinois allows 78.6 points per game compared to 73.5 for Indiana State. The Sycamores had gone UNDER two straight before beating Bradley 85-77 on Saturday when they shot 52.5 percent. Northern Illinois had held opponents to 42.2 percent shooting before running into a buzz saw with Northwestern, which shot 60.7 percent. Take the points with Northern Illinois, and play the UNDER.
