Indiana State at Ball State

Indiana State lost its opener 80-78 in overtime to Northern Illinois as the Sycamores put on a horrendous shooting performance in making just 25-of-72 shots for 34.7 percent. Brenton Scott scored 28 points on 10-of-25 and he missed 11-of-14 three-point shots. Matt Van Scyoc and Jordan Barnes each added 14 apiece. Ball State started strong with an 85-64 road win at Saint Louis as Franko House scored 23 points and Tayler Parsons added 21 and the Cardinals shot 51.7 percent while holding the Billikins to just 35.6 percent. Ball State was 21-14 last year and returns four starters from a team that made 305 three-pointers. The Cardinals are favorites to win the Mid-American West Division. Take Ball State on the moneyline.
