The Georgetown Hoyas have a 7-3 record on the season. The biggest problem is they have had four games that were true tests of what kind of a team they have and outside of a 1-point overtime win against Florida, they dropped the other three to Kansas, Butler, and Wisconsin. What has been apparent in the four games is the fact that the Hoyas can defend against the better teams they have played, but at the same time generating any type of consistent offense has been problematic. The net result, not including overtime, is the four games have averaged just 126.5 points total by both teams. Indiana is off to a 10-2 start on the season. They lost to Eastern Washington as a surprise, but have big wins vs. Butler, SMU, and Pittsburgh on the season. This is a neutral-court game which often requires teams to get accustomed to the shooting background, and also the first game after the Holiday break for both teams, and Georgetown's last game was a week ago. So I think that in a high-profile game the defenses will have the edge in this one, especially at a neutral site. The Hoyas just 1-4-1 ATS following a win and lack consistency, while the Hoosiers have covered four of their last five and seem to be a growing young team. The Hoyas enter at 5-0 to the UNDER when following a loss as Jowh Thompson tends to be a defensive-minded coach, especially after a loss. Play on Indiana and the UNDER in this one.
