What Indiana accomplished a year ago has tended to carry over into this season in terms of the perception of this team. The Hoosiers lost their top four scorers, top three rebounders, and top playmaker from a year ago, so this is not nearly as experienced, or as talented of a team. Michigan State is once again poised to be among the few with a chance to cut down the nets at season's end. Tom Izzo's boys always buy into defense, and 8 of the last 10 opponents have not seen 70, while Sparty has gone for 70+ in 12 of their last 15. Despite the lofty #3 ranking, it hasn't stopped this team from being a cover machine at 8-1 ATS in their last nine. Distance between these teams is much wider than the number here, and Izzo's teams always play hard. Lay the points on Michigan State.
