Illinois State at Valparaiso

Valparaiso looks to avenge a 76-65 loss to Illinois State on Jan. 27 when it shot only 37.7 percent, and the Redbirds have lost three of their last four road games, including a 30-point loss at Indiana State. Illinois State also is in a flat spot on the schedule after an overtime win against Southern Illinois on Thursday. The Redbirds were led by Elijah Clarance, who scored 15 points, but his team shot only 42.6 percent from the field. Valpo is 6-3 at home while allowing opponents just a .417 field goal percentage, and Illinois State is dealing with several injuries and suspensions, including Phil Fayne (15.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game), who is doubtful with an ankle injury. The Crusaders are a small favorite, but play Valparaiso on the moneyline.
