Illinois-Chicago won their opener vs. Illinois-Springfield. Since then, they have lost five straight games, getting outscored 57-70 on average in the process. Meanwhile, DePaul has won five of their first eight games. Their only losses have come vs. Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State - teams that far outclass the IL-Chicago Flames. In all three of those games, DePaul was a big double-digit dog, and they covered the spread in two of those games. The bottom line is that DePaul has taken care of business vs. poor teams like Illinois-Chicago. DePaul has kept opponents to just 59 points per game (56.3 at home). Under Jerry Wainwright, the Blue Demons are 20-=8 ATS as ahome favorite of 6.5 to 9 points. I like DePaul here.
